Wokgoué Visa & Immigration Services Inc. (« WVIS », « we », « us ») respects your right to request deletion of the personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable legal, regulatory, professional and record-retention obligations.

This page explains, in particular, how to request deletion of data that may be received or processed through WVIS Messaging Integration, our business integration using the official Meta and WhatsApp Business services.

1. How to request deletion of your data

To request deletion of your personal data associated with your communications or interactions with WVIS, please send your request by email to:

Please use « Data Deletion Request » as the subject line of your email.

2. Information to provide

So that we can identify the relevant data and protect personal information against unauthorized deletion, we may ask you to provide enough information to verify your identity and locate the data concerned.

Depending on the circumstances, this information may include:

• your full name;
• the telephone number or email address used to communicate with WVIS;
• a description of the data or communications you are asking to have deleted;
• any information reasonably necessary to identify the data concerned.

We will not ask you for more information than is reasonably necessary to process and authenticate your request.

3. Processing your request

After receiving your request, WVIS will verify its authenticity and determine which data are concerned. Where deletion is permitted and applicable, the data concerned will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with applicable requirements.

We may contact you if further information is needed to process your request. Confirmation may also be sent to you once processing of the request is complete.

4. Limits on deletion

Certain data may have to be retained where a legal, regulatory, professional, contractual, accounting, security or record-keeping obligation requires it, or where they are necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of rights.

Where complete deletion cannot be carried out, WVIS may restrict the use of the data concerned or take any other appropriate measure in accordance with applicable requirements.

5. Data linked to WhatsApp and Meta

WVIS Messaging Integration uses the official services of Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform to support WVIS’s authorized business communications.

A request addressed to WVIS covers the data WVIS controls or processes in its own systems and processes. Deletion of data held independently by Meta or WhatsApp remains subject to the applicable policies, settings and procedures of those services.

We may contact you if additional information is required to process your request. We may also provide confirmation when processing of the request has been completed.

WVIS Messaging Integration uses Meta’s official WhatsApp Business Platform services to support WVIS’s authorized business communications.

A deletion request submitted to WVIS applies to information controlled or processed by WVIS within its own systems and processes. Deletion of information independently held by Meta or WhatsApp remains subject to the applicable policies, settings and procedures of those services.
