Use of WhatsApp is also subject to the applicable policies and terms of WhatsApp and Meta. WVIS does not control the processing carried out independently by those providers as part of their own services.

Where particularly sensitive information has to be sent, WVIS may recommend or require the use of another channel where that is more appropriate.

4. Technologies and service providers

WVIS uses technology providers to operate its services and its digital infrastructure. Depending on the service concerned, information may be processed by providers acting on our behalf or supplying the necessary infrastructure.

Those providers may include hosting, messaging, communications, IT security, online form, storage and file management services.

Where the WhatsApp Business Platform is used, Meta Platforms and the relevant entities of its group supply the infrastructure needed to carry and technically process WhatsApp communications.

We seek to limit our providers’ access to the information necessary to perform the services concerned and to use providers offering appropriate security and confidentiality safeguards.

5. Disclosure of information

WVIS does not sell the personal information of its clients or users.

Information processed in another jurisdiction may be subject to the laws applicable in that jurisdiction.
