Express Entry: the round of 17 August 2022
A reminder about Express Entry.
Express Entry is an online system that manages the immigration applications of skilled workers applying for permanent residence in Canada under the federal programs and certain provincial economic immigration programs.
Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria create a profile and submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) into the Express Entry pool.
Candidates are ranked under a points system called the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).
The highest-ranked profiles are selected from the Express Entry pool and receive an invitation to apply for permanent residence.
The government holds rounds regularly through the year.
