In order to better manage the reception of applications for permanent residence and to facilitate their processing, an electronic selection system called Express Entry has been in place since January 2015. (CEC)<\/li><\/ul><p>\u200bExpress Entry also handles some Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) applications.<\/p><p>\u200bIn the Express Entry system, candidates receive points for each established criterion, as well as a score allowing them to be placed in a bank of candidates called a &quot;pool&quot;, which Canadian employers can access to recruit workers and qualified employees. jobs around the world. Skilled Worker Category<\/strong><\/h2><h3><strong>\u200b<\/strong><strong><em>Essential requirements<\/em><\/strong><\/h3><ul><li>\u200bHave 1 year of continuous work experience (1,560 hours) within the past 10 years, in an occupation that is Skill Type Level O (management jobs), or Skill Level A (professional jobs, or B Skilled work experience must be paid (volunteer work, or unpaid internships do not count.) and in the same type of job you are applying for.<\/li><li>Obtain at least level 7 (CLB or NCLC) for your first official language each of the 4 language skills (reading comprehension, comprehension, written expression and oral expression). To obtain points for your second official language, you must reach at least level 5 (CLB or NCLC) in the 4 skills assessed.<\/li><li>Total a minimum score of 67\/100 possible points (this point system is separate from the express entry point system) according to the following scoring grid criteria studies, skilled work experience and language skills<\/li><\/ul><ol start=\"2\"><li><h2><strong> Federal Skilled Trades Category<\/strong><\/h2><\/li><\/ol><p>\u200bSkilled trades currently eligible under this category fall under these NOC groups:<\/p><ul><li>Major group 72 - trades in industry, electricity and construction,<\/li><li>Major group 73 - maintenance and equipment trades,<\/li><li>Major group 82 - supervisors and technical occupations in natural resources, agriculture and related production,<\/li><li>Major Group 92 - Supervisors of Processing, Manufacturing and Utilities and Central Control Operators,<\/li><li>Minor group 632 - chefs and cooks<\/li><li>Mining group 633 - butchers and bakers.<\/li><\/ul><h3><strong><em>Minimum requirements<\/em><\/strong><\/h3><ul><li>\u200bHave at least 2 years of full-time work experience 30 hours per week (or the part-time equivalent) in a skilled trade in the last 5 years<\/li><li>Meet the job requirements for that skilled trade as set out in the NOC, unless provincially qualified.<\/li><li>Obtain a minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) score of 5 for speaking and listening comprehension and a minimum score of 4 for reading and writing.<\/li><li>Hold a valid full-time job offer for a period of at least 1 year or a certificate of qualification in this skilled trade issued by a Canadian provincial, territorial or federal authority.<\/li><\/ul><ol start=\"3\"><li><h2><strong> Canadian Experience Class<\/strong><\/h2><\/li><\/ol><p><strong>\u200b<\/strong>This program is designed for individuals who have relevant work experience in Canada<\/p><h3>\u200b<strong><em>Minimum requirements<\/em><\/strong><\/h3><ul><li>Obtain at least level 7 (CLB or NCLC) for your first official language each of the 4 language skills (reading comprehension, comprehension, written expression and oral expression).
