On July 20, 2022, Canada invited 1,750 Express Entry candidates to apply for permanent residence. Express Entry is one of the main economic immigration routes that Canada offers to immigrants.

This year, Canada has set a goal of welcoming 55,900 immigrants through Express Entry, and then by 2024, the goal will scale to 111,500.

Candidates who were invited had a minimum score of 542 in the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). No particular program has been targeted for this draw, just like for the previous one on July 6, 2022. Which means that all candidates of the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) or the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSW) had the potential to be invited.

The CRS requirement for the new draw is 15 points lower than the previous draw for all programs on July 6, the minimum score was 577. In addition, Canada issued 250 more invitations in this draw by compared to the previous round of 1,500 invitations.
