On 20 July 2022, Canada invited 1,750 Express Entry candidates to apply for permanent residence. Express Entry is one of the main economic immigration routes Canada offers immigrants.<\/p>\n

This year Canada set itself the target of welcoming 55,900 immigrants through Express Entry, and by 2024 the target will rise to 111,500.<\/p>\n

<\/span>The candidates who were invited had a minimum score of 542 in the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). No particular program was targeted for this round, as was the case for the previous one on 6 July 2022. That means every candidate in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) or the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSW) had the potential to be invited.<\/p>\n

The CRS requirement for the new round is 15 points lower than that of the previous all-program round on 6 July, where the minimum score was 577. Canada also issued 250 more invitations in this round than in the previous one of 1,500 invitations.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
