(\u00ab WVIS \u00bb, \u00ab we \u00bb, \u00ab us \u00bb) respects your right to request deletion of the personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable legal, regulatory, professional and record-retention obligations.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nThis page explains, in particular, how to request deletion of data that may be received or processed through <strong>WVIS Messaging Integration<\/strong>, our business integration using the official Meta and WhatsApp Business services.\n<\/p>\n<h3>1. Information to provide<\/h3>\n<p>\nSo that we can identify the relevant data and protect personal information against unauthorized deletion, we may ask you to provide enough information to verify your identity and locate the data concerned.\n<\/p>\n<p>Depending on the circumstances, this information may include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>your full name;<\/li>\n<li>the telephone number or email address used to communicate with WVIS;<\/li>\n<li>a description of the data or communications you are asking to have deleted;<\/li>\n<li>any information reasonably necessary to identify the data concerned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nWe will not ask you for more information than is reasonably necessary to process and authenticate your request.\n<\/p>\n<h3>3. Processing your request<\/h3>\n<p>\nAfter receiving your request, WVIS will verify its authenticity and determine which data are concerned. Where deletion is permitted and applicable, the data concerned will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with applicable requirements.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nWe may contact you if further information is needed to process your request. Confirmation may also be sent to you once processing of the request is complete.\n<\/p>\n<h3>4. Limits on deletion<\/h3>\n<p>\nCertain data may have to be retained where a legal, regulatory, professional, contractual, accounting, security or record-keeping obligation requires it, or where they are necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of rights.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nWhere complete deletion cannot be carried out, WVIS may restrict the use of the data concerned or take any other appropriate measure in accordance with applicable requirements.\n<\/p>\n<h3>5. Data linked to WhatsApp and Meta<\/h3>\n<p>\nWVIS Messaging Integration uses the official services of Meta\u2019s WhatsApp Business Platform to support WVIS\u2019s authorized business communications.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nA request addressed to WVIS covers the data WVIS controls or processes in its own systems and processes. Deletion of data held independently by Meta or WhatsApp remains subject to the applicable policies, settings and procedures of those services.\n<\/p>\n<h3>6.
